Following the Women’s March on Washington in January of 2017 I witnessed in the media women with opposing political views shaming other women for participating in the march. Distressed by this outcome I hosted a few intimate gatherings in my community. In solidarity, women gathered and shared their voices of care and hope as we communally resealed flower blooms by stitching them closed.
