The Root Kind is simplicity. It is the land, it is the plants, it is me aiming to respectfully make a home on this soil - exploring ways to deeply connect with place and purpose - life practice as art practice - seasonally and daily receiving the gifts of the land and plants - sharing with others the colors, nourishment and medicine this land generously provides  - reciprocity - respect  - regeneration - gratitude.

This land is the native land of the Pequot, Mohegan and Nipmuc Native American Tribes.
